CHILD CENTERED EDUCATION

A TEACHER’S ROLE

  • Freedom should be granted to the child to discover things.
  • Develop plays, games and songs and occupations, designed especially to stimulate the child's self-activity.
  • The child progresses at its own speed in a subject. The role of a teacher is to understand the child.
  • The education of child depends on his interest and needs. The physical, social, emotional, moral, spiritual, aesthetic and ethical development of the child is "the main objective” of the child-centred Education
  • The main objective of child centred Education is to enable the child to learn through experience which is permanent. The course and subjects should be experience- oriented to meet the need of the child.
  • Personalisation   is an emerging ‘movement’ within education.
  • Where you will be a facilitator and Not a   teacher.
  • Where every child is   unique and special
  • Where you will not only teach but make a child a   lifelong learner.
  • Where you will be a   teacher with a difference.

IMPORTANCE OF TESTS

  • Tests are a medium to find how much a child has understood.
  • To go through corrections and reinforcement.
  • Tests are to assess a child in a small way.
  • To make a child understand thoroughly.
  • To feed knowledge and information in morsels.
  • Examinations are FINAL.
  • No chance of corrections and reinforcement.
  • It is the essence of assessment of performance throughout the year.
  • It is the main part of a child’s yearly evaluation.
  • It decides major part of a child’s performance.

A TEACHER’S ROLE

  • A teacher needs to be sensitive to a child’s performance at every level.
  • He or she needs to take a child by the hand and lead.
  • Needs to help and facilitate through every test so that the child is prepared for examination.
  • Teacher needs to work with the child like a friend.

  • Workshops can be conducted in single numbers but a minimum of three is required.
  • Also can be conducted in school groups or individual groups.
  • We do not charge any fees.
  • It is only GURU DAKSHINA OR DONATION as per the ability of the contribution of the individuals or groups.
  • Minimum contribution would be Rs 100/- per individual per topic of the workshop
  • It could be through Google pay, credit and debit cards or any other that is acceptable.
